Northern Ireland Water is closely linked to the environment in almost everything we do.

As the provider of water and wastewater services in Northern Ireland, we abstract millions of litres of water every day from rivers and groundwater to treat for public water supply. After the water has been used and enters the sewerage system, we collect it, treat it and return it safely to rivers, streams and seas.
