Codes of Practice
Northern Ireland Water has launched a series of Codes of Practice - information booklets outlining the services we provide, our commitment to dealing fairly with customers and where and how to get advice and help.
The Codes of Practice are available below :
| Our Customer Charter | |
| What To Do if You Have a Complaint | |
| Water Supply Services for Domestic Customers | |
| Guidance on Dealing with Leaks | |
| Priority Services for Domestic Customers | |
| Sewerage Services for Domestic Customers |
Openness and Transparency
Northern Ireland Water are open and transparent as to the type of service we aim to provide to our customers and the Codes of Practice give us targets to measure ourselves against in all aspects of our business.

We are keen to enhance our customer experience. Our Codes of Practice are approved by the Northern Ireland Authority for Utility Regulation (NIAUR) and will be reviewed regularly.
All Codes contain advice on Bogus Callers - making customers aware of what they should do if they are in any doubt when someone calls at their door claiming to be from NIW.
