Incident Details:

After prolonged water supply problems affecting widespread areas, NI Water has had staff working around the clock to resolve the problems. Water supplies have now been restored in most areas.

NI WATER APOLOGISE FOR THE GREAT INCONVENIENCE WE KNOW THIS HAS CAUSED OUR CUSTOMERS

AREAS AFFECTED:

There are currently no widespread areas off supply due to low reservoir levels. Individual properties may remain affected on higher ground until reservoirs fully recover.

Investigations indicate most bursts are now on individual private properties and we would ask property owners to check all vacant buildings. If you are out of water, first check with your neighbours. If they HAVE water, it is likely that the problem is with your internal pipework. Call a plumber to have the problem fixed. If your neighbours also haven't got water, it could be a burst watermain. Call Waterline on 08457 440088 to report the problem.

Action Taken:

Repairs continuing

Current Position:

The number of properties with intermittent supply across the North now stands at 33.

Any customer experiencing an interruption to their water supply should contact NI Water on 08457 440088
