Household

Over 1.7 million people in Northern Ireland rely on us for their water and wastewater services.

We are dedicated to providing those services to the highest possible standard. You may be aware that the introduction of water charges, due on 1 April 2007, has been postponed until 2009 /10 when domestic households will pay two thirds of their full liability and full liability the year after. We will keep you up to date with any further developments on this issue. No matter what decisions are made, we hope to continue to invest in our infrastructure and to make Northern Ireland Water even more efficient.

This section of our website contains useful information on the services we provide to your home and how to make the most of them.

You can find out how connect to the water or sewerage system or how to have your septic tank emptied. You can also find great advice on a range of household water and sewerage topics.
