Major Projects

NIW will be spending almost £1 million per working day throughout the period of its  Strategic Business Plan (April 2007 to March 2010).
Amongst the many water and wastewater projects either currently on site or only recently completed there are a number of flagship projects that we are particularly proud of and that will deliver major benefits to our customers.

In overall terms these schemes and others collectively will deliver :

  • 1000 kilometers of replacement watermain
  • a reduction in leakage of over 20%
  • a reduction in interruptions to customer supply
