High Bangor Road Sewerage Scheme – Public Information Session

15 July 2015 16:01

NI Water is scheduled to commence work on an essential flood alleviation scheme at the end of July 2015 to upgrade the sewerage network within the Donaghadee area. The work will be carried out in the vicinity of the High Bangor Road, Newtownards Road and Moat Street. The construction work will include the relaying/relining of sewers within certain gardens and also on the public road. Customers will be notified as necessary if we need access to their properties and staff will show identification at all times.

We would like to take this opportunity to invite the local community to a ‘drop in’ information session at the Donaghadee Community Centre, 12 Railway Street Donaghadee, BT21 OHG on Wednesday 29th July from 4pm-7pm.
Members of NI Water project team will be available at any stage between 4pm-7pm to provide information on the project and discuss any issues local residents or business owners may have. Everyone is welcome to attend.

NI Water would like to thank the public for their patience and co-operation while this essential work is completed. Once complete, the work will improve the sewerage infrastructure in the area and reduce the risk of ‘out of sewer’ flooding. It will also ensure that NI Water continues to meet Northern Ireland Environment Agency Standards.

Customer queries regarding this project should be directed to Waterline on 03457 440088, quoting ‘High Bangor Road – Project No KI563.’
