Northern Ireland Water is committed to delivering services with increasing emphasis on protecting the environment and promoting sustainable development.

Good environmental managment is a responsibility we take very seriously and is central to our success. As a member of Water UK, we continue to participate in the development of environmental sustainability indicators for the Water Industry and contribute to Water UK's annual report on environmental sustainability.

The Northern Ireland Water Environmental Policy defines our commitment to the protection of the environment in which we operate. We have implemented a formal management system to the International Standard ISO14001.
