Laurence MacKenzieChief ExecutiveLaurence joined Northern Ireland Water as Chief Executive Officer in July 2009. Prior to joining NI Water he was an executive director of the Viridian Group and headed up Northern Ireland Electricity plc. Before joining Viridian in 2000 he was General Manager of ABB's manufacturing interests in Scotland, he also spent time with Scottish Hydro-Electric plc as Business Performance Manager. Responsible for the overall performance of Northern Ireland Water and the ongoing transformation of the organisation into an efficient, customer focussed, world class water utility. |

George ButlerDirector of Asset ManagementGeorge has worked in most aspects of the water industry as a consultant, independent contractor, regulator and financier.In his early career he procured major water and waste facilities in the UK and overseas, using conventional and PPP models. He is a chartered engineer, member of ICE, CIWEM and IWO and holds degrees from Edinburgh, Imperial and Cranfield universities. He is a director of UKWIR. George's role with Northern Ireland Water has responsibility for strategic asset management and the company's scientific services. |

Trevor HaslettDirector of Engineering & ProcurementTrevor worked for DRD Water Service for almost 30 years prior to the inception of Northern Ireland Water in April 2007. Trevor has held senior posts in Operations and Engineering and also worked the private sector as Director of a civil engineering contracting company working throughout the UK.He attained a BSc (Hons) in Civil Engineering from Queens University and is a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management and Institution of Water Officers as well as a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers. Appointed to his current post in late 2002, Trevor is responsible for procuring and delivering the Capital Investment Programme along with integrating and managing the procurement of goods and services into the supply chain. |

Ronan Larkin *Director of Finance & RegulationJoined Water Service in September 2005 prior to the inception of Northern Ireland Water in April 2007. Previously responsible for commercial & financial roles in various other organisations in the UK and Ireland.Responsible for the financial direction of Northern Ireland Water, plus all aspects of Corporate Governance, economic regulation and the companies relationship with The Regulator. |

Pauline ShepherdDirector of HRPauline joined Water Service in May 2005, prior to the inception of NI Water in April 2007. She was formerly the Director of Personnel and Finance in the NI Prison Service with responsibility for leading employee relations in a particularly volatile industrial relations climate.Pauline has held a number of senior posts in Human Resources and Change Management within the NI Court Service. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and currently has responsibility for HR Strategy, Health and Safety and Facilities Management. |

Mark EllesmereHead of Legal & Company SecretaryMark provides legal advice and assistance throughout the organisation and is Company Secretary to the board of Northern Ireland Water.

David Gilmour Commercial Director David has a strong global commercial background and has considerable experience of achieving significant cost reductions, supply chain management, change management and engineering/capital construction purchasing. He is responsible for commercial sourcing and the effectiveness of supplier relationship for NI Water. David is also responsible for developing and implementing the procurement strategy and for NI Water's supplier selection and contracting strategy. |

Pat McParland Pat joined Northern Ireland Water in June 2008 and is responsible for the organisations communication strategy. The communications team aims to work closely and develop relationships with key stakeholders including customers and The Regulator. Effective engagement and excellent communication with all NI Water employees is also a priorty. |

Darren Mawhinney Head of Strategy Darren joined NI Water in February 2008. He is originally from a consulting background, specialising in strategy and business change for multinational clients. He subsequently spent five years in Operations and Business Improvement Roles in the IT industry. As Head of Strategy Darren is responsible for strategic planning and analysis for NI Water to enable the organisation to realise its full potential. He is also responsible for the development and implementation of NI Water's Corporate Management System. |

Liam Mulholland Joined Northern Ireland Water in May 2007 after a career predominantly in the telecomms sector NTL and Telewest. Liam has held a range of posts relating to customer operations and business improvement. Liam is responsible for Customer Systems, Customer Services, the management of the contract with Crystal Alliance, existing billing activity and the One Billing Project. |
