Water Charges

For full information on business water charges please read our Scheme of Charges 2012/13.

For measured customers, charges are made up of two parts :

• a standing charge based on supply pipe size ; and
• a variable charge based on the volume of water used.

Many measured customers currently benefit from the existing domestic allowance

For unmeasured customers, charges are in two parts :

• a fixed standing charge ; and
• a variable charge, based on the Net Annual Value of their premises

As a result of the decision to defer domestic charges during 2012 /13, we are pleased to advise that unmeasured charges will continue to be billed at 50% of the full charge.

Water charges are capped at a maximum of £430
