Essential sewer improvement work to begin in Randalstown

15 April 2011 15:53

NI Water will be carrying out essential improvements to the sewerage infrastructure in the Shanes Street and Bridge Street areas of Randalstown from the 18th April 2011 for approximately 10 weeks. The purpose of this work is to install a new storm sewer which is essential to improve the existing infrastructure and allow for existing and future development in the area.

As with all work of this nature, there will be an element of disruption and traffic management will be in place on Shanes Street, Bridge Street and the junction between both roads and Station Road. Any diversions will be signposted.

Once complete, this work will improve the sewerage infrastructure in the area, reduce the risk of out of sewer flooding and will meet the needs of new developments.

NI Water and its contractor, Deane Public Works Ltd, would like to thank the public in advance for their patience and cooperation, and assure them that we will do everything we can to complete the work as quickly as possible.

Customer queries regarding this work should be directed to Waterline on 08457 440088.
