Sewer Improvement Work to Begin in Larne

14 November 2011 15:03

NI Water will be carrying out essential improvements to the sewerage infrastructure in the Blackcave area of Larne from the 28 November 2011 for approximately 28 weeks. This includes work on Upper Cairncastle Road (commencing 28 November 2011 for 16 weeks) and Old Glenarm Road (commencing 5 December 2011 for 26 weeks). The purpose of this work is to replace the existing sewers and improve the overall infrastructure. The work will also reduce the risk of out of sewer flooding.

As with all work of this nature, there will be an element of disruption and traffic management and relevant signage will be in place. Short lane closures with traffic lights will be in place for the duration of the works.

NI Water would like to thank the public in advance for their patience and cooperation, and assure them that we will do everything we can to complete the work as quickly as possible.

Customer queries regarding this work should be directed to Waterline on 08457 440088.
