Newry Road Wastewater Pumping Station, Warrenpoint – Refurbishment & Newry Road Car Park Closure

NI Water through our appointed contractor Quinn Automatic will be undertaking some refurbishment works on the existing Wastewater Pumping Station on the Newry Road, Warrenpoint. The work will commence on Thursday 23rd November and we anticipate will take approximately 1 week to complete.
These works will necessitate the use of a large mobile crane, which will be located within the car park on the Newry Road. In order to ensure the safety of the public and construction workers, the car park will be closed during this time.
The car park will be closed from 8.00am on Thursday 23rd of November until the completion of the works.
This work will reduce the risk of out of sewer flooding and reduce environmental pollution in the area.
NI Water and our contractor Quinn Automatic appreciate that this work is disruptive and would like to thank the public for their patience and co-operation as we complete these essential works.
