Watermains Improvement Work Planned for Ballycowan Road - Information Session

06 December 2019 10:07

 | NI Water News
NI Water and our contractor Farrans Construction will commence pipelaying works early in January 2020 in the Ballycowan Road area, as part of a major investment programme to upgrade the watermains infrastructure throughout Northern Ireland. This work is good news for customers in the local area, as the upgraded watermains will improve the quality, security and flexibility of the water supply, as well as reducing leakage and improving pressure.

The project team will hold a “drop-in” information session on Monday 16th December, 4pm to 6pm in Connor and Kells Community Centre, Glenaan Park, Kells, BT42 3JX, to discuss the works and upcoming schemes including Ballycowan Road, Steeple Road and Ferniskey Road. Everyone is welcome to call in at any stage between 4-6pm to get further information on the project. The team will be available to answer any questions the public may have.

Further updates and signage will be available in the New Year and NI Water would like to thank the public in advance for their patience and cooperation during this essential improvement work and assure the public that we will do everything possible to keep all disruption to a minimum.

ENDS.
