Sewer Improvement Work Continues on Lisburn Road

07 November 2011 14:19

NI Water would like to announce that due to unexpected site conditions causing delays, sewer repair work will continue on the Lisburn Road.
The work, which was scheduled to be completed on the 7th November, will now be completed on Monday 14th November 2011.

This emergency work involves the installation of a storm sewer from Drumglass Park to Mowhan Street and involves a two lane closure of the right hand lanes (Belfast Bound) until Monday 14th November 2011. Please note that two-way traffic will still be in place at all times. This essential work will reduce the risk of flooding and will allow for existing and future development in the area.

As with all work of this nature, there will be an element of traffic disruption, and NI Water and its contractor, O’Neill Contracts Ltd, would like to thank the public in advance for their patience and cooperation, and assure them that we will do everything we can to complete this emergency work as quickly as possible.

Customer queries regarding this work should be directed to Waterline on 08457 440088.
