As Temperatures Drop, You Should Sign Up!

14 December 2010 15:21
With temperatures already on the decrease, and the freeze set to commence once more, NI Water is reminding its vulnerable customers to sign up to it’s Customer Care Register.

The Register is designed to meet the needs of those requiring extra help or support from the organisation and will capture vital details of people with medical conditions, disabilities or older people. NI Water’s Customer Service Manager David McClean, explains:

"The Register will enable us to capture vital information which will assist us when communicating with certain customers. For example, in the event of loss of water supply or frozen pipes, NI Water will be able to identify and prioritise customers with particular needs, perhaps by providing bottled water to those with specific medical conditions."

"Customers who join the Register will also be able to nominate a carer or relative to act on their behalf, by receiving post or by becoming our point of contact if needed."

The services provided to customers on the Register are outlined in the leaflet and are free of charge; customers simply need to let us know their particular needs.

Customers can join the register or request a copy of our information leaflet by phoning Waterline on 08457 440088 or by emailing waterline@niwater.com.
