NI Water is dealing with interruptions to water supplies across a large number of areas in the province as a result of the severe weather and on-going thaw. As a result there are a large number of properties that are experiencing low pressure/no water. The main areas currently affected include Belfast, Lisburn, Bushmills, Coalisland, Armagh, Newry, Bessbrook, Cullyhanna, Dromore, Keady and Craigavon.
Our teams are on site at burst locations and will be working continuously to repair these bursts and fully restore water supply to all our customers over the coming days.
NI Water would urge all property owners to check their premises, including vacant buildings, outbuildings and animal drinking troughs for any leaks and arrange for them to be repaired as soon as possible. If you do see any bursts or runs of water, please report these to our Waterline number, on 08457 440088. We would also ask customers to conserve their use of water during this period of disruption. This will allow us to maximize the quantity of water available to all our customers across the province.
Due to the unprecedented high volume of calls a number of customers have experienced a longer waiting time than usual and we apologise for this inconvenience.
