Jazz and Blues lovers from across the country are invited to NI Water’s ‘Music in the Valley’ event on Sunday 19th August at Silent Valley Mountain Park.
The event, organised by the company to attract visitors to the picturesque mountainous Park, will host a Jazz/Blues Band, as well as circus show by Edwin Longbottom and for the more adventurous visitors ‘walking on water’ activities.
Celine Rodgers, organiser of the event comments:
“This year we decided to try something new in the form of ‘Music in the Valley’, we held our first music event back in July which was a great success and we look forward to hosting the next musical event on the 19 August and welcoming back many of the same visitors.
“This event will be very much about relaxation, there is no better way to enjoy a lazy Sunday than lying back and enjoy the scenery while being serenaded!
“Many spectators at the last event simply relaxed with their family, picnicked and enjoyed the sweet sounds of the music while their children were entertained by a larger than life circus show.”
NI Water has recently improved some of the Parks facilities, including an extended new children’s play park, picnic areas, walking trails with podcasts for walkers to download as they adventure into the wild!
