NI Water can confirm that a burst main within the Lagan Valley Hospital Estate in Lisburn has been repaired and that supply has now been fully restored to the site.
NI Water initiated our contingency plan for the hospital site, and staff and contractors were on the ground from the early hours of this morning, working alongside hospital staff and other colleagues to resolve the issue. Steps were taken to minimise the impact on hospital services while the repair was carried out.
NI Water have also been in contact with the residents of the properties affected to assist them with the aftermath of flood damage.
We are grateful to all those affected for their patience while this matter was resolved.
