NI Water is carrying out emergency repair work to the sewer on Malone Road, Belfast. The works will be under two-way traffic management control between the junctions of Deramore Park South and Myrtlefield Park with the Malone Road being reduced to a single lane for the duration of the emergency works.
Lane closures may cause delays - please allow extra time and consider alternative routes.
Inspections of the combined foul and storm sewer have confirmed it requires immediate remedial work to ensure it continues to function and serve the properties in the area. This work commenced on Monday 25th August.
It is anticipated the work will take a further estimated 5 days to complete and will continue throughout the weekend and into next week.
