A record-breaking £20k has been raised for WaterAid through the annual charity golf day at Rockmount Golf Club.

Around 200 people attended the event last month which incorporated the usual scramble golf competition as well as two ‘get into golf’ sessions – ideal for beginners to the sport!

Congratulations to the winning fourball from AtkinsRéalis and a heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended and sponsored the event.

A special thanks to main sponsors GEDA and Water Solutions Ireland whose help and support have been instrumental in the team reaching the fantastic fundraising sum of £20k!!

These funds will make a real difference to a key WaterAid project in Rwanda, which will empower young people to become “Agents of Change” in their communities.

The local WaterAid NI Committee (led by NI Water) is proud to help WaterAid increase access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene education in Rwanda. For further information log on to www.wateraid.org
