NI Water has announced its intention to commence preliminary market engagement for its proposed IF109 Integrated Partnerships Framework, a strategic procurement programme that will support the delivery of future capital investment across water and wastewater infrastructure throughout Northern Ireland.

The new framework is a progression from NI Water's existing IF105 Integrated Partnerships Framework and will play a key role in supporting the delivery of NI Water's future investment programme, including the business planning/regulatory period from 2028 (PC28).

The framework is expected to provide long-term delivery capability across a range of capital projects and programmes, supporting improvements to water and wastewater services across Northern Ireland.

As the next step in the development of the framework, NI Water intends to publish a UK2 Preliminary Market Engagement Notice in early August 2026. The notice will provide early information on the proposed framework and invite interested suppliers to participate in a supplier market engagement event scheduled for late August 2026.

The proposed IF109 framework is anticipated to support a broad range of infrastructure delivery requirements and create opportunities for suppliers across the water sector supply chain. NI Water is keen to engage with organisations that can contribute the skills, expertise and capacity required to support future investment ambitions.
