NI Water has been recognised for its use of technology to improve operational efficiency after winning the Responsible Digital / Technology Innovation Award at the BITC 2026 Responsible Business Awards in Northern Ireland.

Presented recently at ICC Belfast, the award recognises NI Water’s use of digital innovation utilising in-house expertise, skills and resources to strengthen resilience and improve performance across the organisation. 

Speaking after the awards, Damien O’Mullan, Director of Transformation and Innovation at NI Water said the win reflects NI Water’s commitment to innovative thinking to provide smarter and more sustainable solutions to optimise network performance.
