NI Water Continues Water Mains Investment in East Belfast/Holywood

12 October 2010 10:36

Northern Ireland Water (NI Water) is on the road again with a £3.5million programme of water mains improvement work for the East Belfast and Holywood areas during the month of October. This investment is good news for the areas, as the upgraded water mains will dramatically improve the quality, reliability and flexibility of water supply, while also reducing leakage.

The first phase of the scheme will commence in Dalwhinney Road and Invergarry Avenue in Holywood. Work in East Belfast will also get underway in Ardenlee Avenue and Shamrock Road in the Ravenhill Road area.

NI Water and our contractor Farrans Utilities would like to thank the public in advance for their co-operation during this vital improvement work and every effort will be made to keep any disruption to a minimum.

NI Water’s customer relations team can be contacted via Waterline on 08457 440088. Customers with any questions on the scheme should quote Farrans Utilities Water Mains Rehabilitation Programme.
