Infrastructure Maintenance scheme to get underway at Craigavon Bridge

31 January 2011 8:02

NI Water is scheduled to commence essential maintenance work on the water main located on the lower deck of the Craigavon Bridge in Londonderry. This work is scheduled to commence on Wednesday 16th February until Friday 11th March.

Unfortunately due to the nature of this work, it will be necessary to close the lower deck of the Craigavon Bridge to motorists and pedestrians overnight for the duration of the work. The lower deck of the bridge will be closed at the junctions with Foyle Road, Victoria Road, and Duke Street. Diversionary routes will be signposted for motorists and pedestrians.

The road closure times for the lower deck junctions are as follows:

Monday-Wednesday: 7.30pm-6.30am,

Thursday: 9.00pm-6.30am

Friday: 9.00pm-12.00pm

Saturday: 6.30pm-12.00pm

Sunday: 6.30pm-6.30am

NI Water would like to thank the public for their patience while we complete this essential maintenance and will do everything we can to minimise disruption. Customer queries should be directed to Waterline on 08457 440088.
