Burst Water Main Head Road, Kilkeel

03 February 2011 14:53

Update : 16:15

NI Water teams are currently working to restore supply to customers in the Kilkeel area. Mechanical failures with specialist equipment have previously delayed the repair, however, it is now currently underway. It should be noted that time needs to be allocated for the system to re-charge.

An estimated time of restoration is midnight. The restoration time may be longer for customers on higher ground.

NI Water is distributing bottled water from the following locations:

- ASDA CAR PARK
- JUNCTION OF OLD TOWN ROAD AND HEAD ROAD
- BALLYMARTIN- BESIDE THE BALLYMARTIN INN
- ANNALONG- HALF WAY HOUSE
- IN THE PUBLIC CAR PARK AT BLOODY BRIDGE
- KILKEEL LEISURE CENTRE

NI Water staff are also actively distributing water to the customers on the critical care register, various nursing homes and housing associations.
