Emergency repair work on Stewartstown Road, Belfast 26/02/12

NI Water is scheduled to commence emergency repair work at the junction of Stewartstown Road and Blacks Road. Work will commence at 8.00am on Sunday 26th February.


NI Water’s engineers identified a burst on a major trunk main in the area. Investigations indicate the burst may be located at the junction of the Stewartstown Road and Blacks Road.

Roads Service have identified the best time to carry out repairs, taking into account the large volume of traffic using this stretch of road.

A carefully planned road traffic management system will be put in place while this emergency repair work is carried out.

Interruptions to water supply are not expected.
