Emergency repair work on Stewartstown Road, Belfast 26/02/12

24 February 2012 12:28

NI Water is scheduled to commence emergency repair work at the junction of Stewartstown Road and Blacks Road. Work will commence at 8.00am on Sunday 26th February.

NI Water’s engineers identified a burst on a major trunk main in the area. Investigations indicate the burst may be located at the junction of the Stewartstown Road and Blacks Road.

Roads Service have identified the best time to carry out repairs, taking into account the large volume of traffic using this stretch of road.

A carefully planned road traffic management system will be put in place while this emergency repair work is carried out.

Interruptions to water supply are not expected.

NI Water would like to thank the public for their patience during this time. We appreciate how busy this road is and every effort will be made to keep disruption to a minimum.

Any queries should be directed to our customer relations centre via Waterline on 08457 440088.
