Agreement reached with Utility Regulator on PC13

14 February 2013 10:18

Today we reached agreement with the Utility Regulator with regard to acceptance of Price Control 13 (PC13) which sets out our funding and business delivery plan for the two years to 31 March 2015.

Trevor Haslett, Chief Executive of NI Water commented:

“Following a detailed review of the Regulator’s proposals in their Final Determination issued on 14 December, the Board of NI Water has reached agreement to the price control, which commenced with our Business Plan submitted to the Regulator on 21 May 2012. PC13 represents a continued significant challenge for the organisation. With the support of our shareholder, the Department for Regional Development, we will seek to continue to improve our service to customers, whilst improving further our efficiencies, building on the successful delivery of our current three year price control, Price Control 10.

“I want to acknowledge the commitment and dedication of staff in NI Water who have delivered the improvements to services and outputs we have made to date. We recognise there is more to do, our priority on a daily basis being the safe and efficient delivery of water and wastewater services to our customers.”
