NI Water is scheduled to commence essential work to improve the existing sewerage network in Benone in November 2018. The scheme, which will be undertaken mainly over two autumn/winter periods to minimise disruption during key tourist seasons, will see the replacement of a large part of the existing vacuum system serving local caravan parks and amenities with conventional wastewater pumping stations and sewers.

The scheme will improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the network and deliver environmental benefits in the Benone area.
