 | NI Water News

Northern Ireland Water are undertaking a number of exciting projects to look after our environment and reduce the impact of climate change. Investing in hydrogen, restoring peatlands and exploring other new renewable energy opportunities alongside ambitious tree planting on our lands.

To celebrate the start of our mission to plant 1 million trees we challenged Primary 7 pupils, in schools local to our first planting site in the Fofanny catchment area, with the task of designing a poster to highlight the exciting environmental projects we are undertaking. We had some fantastic entries and with help from the Woodland Trust NI we chose our winning entry from St Patrick’s PS, Mayobridge. The winning posters will be showcased on our environmental micro-site https://staged.niwater.com/climatechange/news/local-school-engagement/
