It moves from focusing on inputs and outputs to focus on the 12 strategic outcomes that the Executive wishes to achieve. We have a clear role to play in at least 9 of the outcomes: The draft plan states: There are growing demands to expand and improve our water and sewerage infrastructure to keep pace with economic growth, meet stringent environmental standards and reduce instances of sewer spills and flooding. Capacity issues are a concern in Belfast as well as in some rural areas where the lack of capacity is impeding the natural growth of some communities. We are committed to playing our part in achieving the strategic outcomes for Northern Ireland.
