NI Water award their Vehicle Fitting-Out Services contract to Taxi Bus Conversions (TBC)

Taxi Bus Conversions (TBC), Dungannon have just been awarded the C1162 Provision of Vehicle Fitting-Out Services Contract with NI Water, which will deliver van fit out services for NI Water’s fleet for the next 3-6 years.  This contract has a potential value of up to £900K per year and will also deliver Social Value with the appointment of two apprentices, who will gain paid employment and develop their skills through working with TBC’s experienced Technicians.

Commenting on the recent award, Eilis Kelly, Head of Commercial, NI Water said, “We are thrilled to be partnering with TBC. Not only will this partnership deliver a real difference to our front line teams but it will also deliver a lasting impact to people within our local communities. Eilis continued, “TBC fully embraced the social value ask within the bid for this contract and I look forward to hearing the updates on the introduction of apprentices within their organisation.”

Forming part of the Social Value Unit within the Strategic Invest Board (SIB), Esther Barnes said, “TBC have illustrated a solid commitment to Social Value which will undoubtedly make a real positive change to their apprentices, their organisation and to NIW.”
