NI Water to Invest £3 Million in Magherafelt

Northern Ireland Water (NI Water) has announced a £3 million investment programme in Magherafelt to improve water and wastewater services in the area.

The investment, announced at the Magherafelt Council meeting on 10 February, relates to a number of schemes that are already underway or planned to commence within this financial year.

This major investment programme will bring significant benefits to the local community, economy and meet the needs of the growing population and tourism industry. The work includes the upgrade of Draperstown Wastewater Treatment Works, improvements to Maghera sewerage system and the upgrade of Straw Village Wastewater Pumping Station.
