Local representatives for the Armagh area recently visited NI Water’s Annaghmore Wastewater Treatment Works (WwTW) in Portadown.

The event, organised by the company to show representatives around their local sewage works, was an opportunity to allow them to see a recently refurbished WwTW serving a significant number of their constituents.

Personnel on site conducted a short tour and gave the representatives an idea of how a WwTW actually functions and of the important duties fulfilled by NI Water on behalf of their constituents every single day.
