Sewer Improvement Work continues in Omagh

25 June 2012 15:29

NI Water would like to announce that work is due to take place to repair a collapsed sewer in Scarrf’s Entry car park at Kevlin Avenue, Omagh. The work will involve replacing 80 metres of foul sewer through the car park.

This essential work will improve the infrastructure in the area, reduce the risk of out of sewer flooding in Omagh, meet Northern Ireland Environment Agency standards and enhance the sewerage system to meet future growth and demand in the area.

As part of this work, a temporary reduction in the number of available parking spaces will be required. This will be in place from Monday 2nd July for approximately 4 weeks. Access to the car park will be maintained during this time.

NI Water and its contractor Lowry Bros Ltd would like to assure the public that everything will be done to minimise disruption while this essential work is completed. Associated traffic and pedestrian management systems will be in place to allow the works to be completed in a safe environment. Any queries should be directed to our customer relations centre via Waterline on 08457 440088.
