A2 Watermains project nears completion

Northern Ireland Water is pleased to confirm that all of its main laying replacement work will be completed this weekend on the A2 Belfast to Bangor dual carriageway between Old Quay Road and Ballyrobert Road.Commissioning of the new watermains will take place at various locations between Old Quay and Ballyrobert Road over the course of the weekend of Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd of September and all remaining work to reinstate specialist road safety coatings will be completed. Some lane restrictions will still be in place during this time, however two-way traffic will be maintained at all times.
