Emergency Repair Work to Sewer in Windsor Avenue, Belfast

02 July 2013 15:02

NI Water is carrying out emergency repair work to the sewer serving Windsor Avenue, Belfast.

Inspections to the sewer have confirmed it requires immediate work to ensure it continues to function and serve the properties in the area.

Work will commence on Thursday 4 July and will involve replacing a section of the sewer at the lower end of Windsor Avenue and out onto the Lisburn Road.

It is anticipated the work will take 5 days to complete and will continue throughout the weekend.

In order to complete the work NI Water, with the co-operation of Roads Service, must close the Windsor Avenue and Lisburn Road junction, with an additional lane closure on Lisburn Road. Local access will be through the Malone Road entrance for the duration of the works.

NI Water would like to thank the public in advance for their patience and cooperation while this emergency work takes place and assure them that we will do everything we can to complete the work as quickly as possible.

Customer queries regarding this work should be directed to Waterline on 08457 440088.
