NI Water Public Realm Work - Bangor and Holywood

09 August 2013 15:33

NI Water and our contractors will be carrying out Public Realm works in Bangor and Holywood town centres, which will get underway in Holywood on Monday 12 August, and in Bangor on Tuesday 20 August.  This essential work will include surveying the existing sewerage network in the area, and will ultimately improve the infrastructure in both town centre zones.  The work is scheduled to last between five and six weeks.

While manholes are open, the working areas will have warning signs and temporary barriers erected to ensure public safety, and members of the public are advised to stay away from open manholes during working periods.  NI Water will do everything possible to keep disruption to a minimum, including carrying out the majority of the work at night, and will aim to complete the work as quickly as possible for the benefit of customers in the North Down area.  Members of the public should contact Waterline for more information by dialling 08457 44 00 88.
