Temporary Road Closure Planned for Quay Street Bangor: 27th-29th May

NI Water is currently engaged in an ongoing programme of improvement work to improve the sewerage infrastructure, bathing water quality and key pumping stations in the Bangor area. Phases one and two of this essential programme of work, involves work at Bangor Marina and Luke’s Point, and will continue until summer 2014.

As part of this process, we wish to inform you of the following temporary road closure.

Quay Street will be closed this month from the 27th-29th May 2014 to facilitate essential construction work. A diversion/alternative route will be available via the Victoria Road, Crosby street, Holburn Avenue and High Street. Signage will be in place and access will be maintained for pedestrians and emergency traffic.

NI Water and our contractor BSG Civil Engineering would like to thank the public in advance for their patience and assure them that we will do everything that we can to reduce disruption in the area.
