New Wastewater Pumping Station Planned for Millisle – Information Session 23 April

01 April 2015 14:14

NI Water is scheduled to commence work in Spring 2015 on a project to upgrade a major Wastewater Pumping station at Shore Road, Millisle (beside Millisle & Ballycopeland Presbyterian Church). The construction works will also include the installation of a new pumping main along Strand Avenue.

The new pumping station is good news for the local community as it will improve the sewerage infrastructure in the area and ensure that NI Water continues to meet Northern Ireland Environment Agency Standards.

We would like to take this opportunity to invite the local community to a “drop in” information session at the Millisle Masonic Hall, 87 Main Street, Millisle, BT22 2HR on Thursday 23rd April 2015 between 4-7pm.

Members of the NI Water project team will be available at any stage between 4pm-7pm to provide information on the project and discuss any issues or concerns local residents or business owners may have. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Customer queries regarding this project should be directed to Waterline on 08457 440088.
