Ravenhill Road, Belfast Sewer Scheme Continues- Traffic Management in place

23 July 2015 16:04

NI Water is currently completing sewer relining and repair work on the existing brick sewer on the Ravenhill Road in South Belfast.

Work is currently underway under a temporary traffic light system, which is in place between Park Road and Cherryvale Playing Fields. This may cause some delays in the area but the Ravenhill Road will remain open in both directions throughout this programme of work, with single lane traffic controlled by temporary traffic signals. We will monitor these arrangements as the work progresses, and do everything we can to minimise disruption in the area. Traffic management arrangements will be in place during July and August 2015.

This essential programme of work is required to repair and renew the existing sewers in poor condition and will help reduce the risk of flooding.

NI Water and our contractor Graham Construction will continue to liaise closely with Transport NI and would like to thank the public for their patience and cooperation while we complete this work.
