NI Water – Going From Strength To Strength

26 November 2015 13:52

NI Water has welcomed the recent positive report by the Utility Regulator into the Cost and Performance of the company.

NI Water Director of Finance & Regulation, Ronan Larkin, has commented on the Utility Regulator’s Cost and Performance Report for the Price Control 13 period (PC13), stating,

“This report recognises the significant and continuing progress that NI Water has made during the 2013-2015 period.

“It demonstrates that we have outperformed against our efficiency targets whilst at the same time delivering a major capital programme, reducing leakage, reducing environmental pollution and achieving our best ever results in both drinking water quality and waste water compliance. This reflects the commitment of our workforce in delivering improved service to our customers.”

Mr Larkin concluded;

"Northern Ireland Water is at the heart of public health for everyone in Northern Ireland, every day.  We provide an essential service to industry and business in support of our regional economy.

“Our current six year business plan to 2021 is focussed around improving our service to all our customers and being more efficient in how we do that.  Key to the success of our plan is working with government to secure the necessary medium term funding settlement that will underpin our delivery of investment in better services for all our customers."
