Sewer Improvement Work Gets Underway in Orchardville Area of Belfast

09 February 2016 15:59

NI Water has commenced essential sewer improvement work in Orchardville Crescent, Finaghy Road North and it is anticipated that work will continue until the end of February.

This programme of work is necessary to help reduce the risk of ‘out of sewer flooding’ in the area.

Once complete, the project will provide the local community with improved sewerage systems that are less prone to failure from blockages and sewer collapses. It will also reduce the risk of ‘out of sewer’ flooding and environmental pollution.

NI Water and our contractor BSG Civil Engineering appreciate that work of this nature can be unavoidably disruptive and assure you we will do everything we can to deep it to a minimum and ensure the work is completed as soon as practicably possible. We would like to thank the public for their patience and co-operation while this essential work is completed.
